Burriana Beach boasts 800 metres of fine, golden sand and is considered to be the best beach in Nerja. This area has it all, a magnificent landscape, a large promenade with various shops, restaurants and bars, luxury loungers, water sports and facilities for everyone. All this within walking distance of Nerja town centre. Burriana is popular year-round and famous for its beach front chiringuitos serving paella, cooked in a giant dish over an open fire. You’ll find restaurants to suit all tastes, plus cocktail bars and cafés. There’s plenty to keep you entertained, including sea kayaking which is highly recommended when visiting Burriana. There are a number of routes that take you to visit the neighbouring beaches of Maro. You can also parasail, dive, play volleyball and jet ski! Read more

Beautiful villa in relaxing surroundings. A real home from home, very well equipped and cleaned thoroughly. We had an amazing holiday, walked to the beach and into town everyday. A visit to Scarletta in town recommended! Can easily walk to the supermarket was lovely eating out on the terrace looking at the beautiful views. I feel as though I know Linda from her lovely emails and Ann and Chris were great during our stay. We have booked immediately for a longer stay next year! Nikki P. Fantastic villa – great location! We had a fantastic stay in this villa, everything we could have wished for. Great location for the beach even though a steep hill but that’s Nerja and taxis are available, great pool space, wonderful hot tub with outstanding views. Air con and fans available, great showers, lovely bedrooms, we ate in most of the time, but near everything if you wanted to go out. No complaints at all, we would definitely recommend it. Joanne E. The second time we’ve stayed and we’ll be back! Very well equipped, clean, good quality villa. Excellent location and beautiful pool area with amazing views of the sunset. Very helpful local agents who helped us out when we locked ourselves out. Quiet and relaxing. Can’t praise it enough. Our second stay and we will be back. Catherine C. Lovely, well-equipped villa, in convenient location. The villa works well for families or groups of friends. The property is managed by Chris & Ann who were extremely helpful and responsive, both prior to our stay, and during the week. Everything was kept clean and well-maintained. The apartment and gym are brand new this year (although the gym equipment is not new, it’s fine for the purpose – my husband used it every day). Judith F. Great villa in lovely surroundings. The villa is very well equipped in a lovely area of Nerja. We walked to the beach front almost every day even though it was too cold to go in the last week of the year. Everything is easily walk able from supermarkets to restaurants. Even the town centre is not too far of a walk away. Jacob W. Stayed at the Villa Aljamar Date of Stay: December 2016
Home from Home with added Luxury. This is our 3rd visit to Linda and Alan’s fabulous place and it’s been amazing to see the place change over the years. The addition of the self-contained 2 bed apartment (under the pool) meant that additional members of our family could join us without it feeling cramped. The pool area, which has been extended, is very spacious with good quality sun loungers and parasols to provide shade. The pool side kitchen is really useful for keeping much needed drinks ice cold and its great to have a bathroom down there to avoid having to trail back into the house. My boys loved the poolside hot tub, especially in the evenings when the tub lights up! Sharon H. Stayed at the Villa Miramar Date of Stay: May 2017

Protected by the Sierra de Almijara mountains Nerja has its own micro-climate which includes approximately 320 days of sunshine per year.

Just 56km east of Málaga with the Sierra Almijara rising behind it, you’ll find the charming town of Nerja. Originally an old fishing village, Nerja has become a popular destination for those seeking a taste of real Spain. Nerja has succeeded in rebuffing developers, allowing its centre to retain a low-rise village charm. At its heart is the beautiful Balcón de Europa, a palm-lined promontory built on the foundations of an old fort. The Balcón de Europa offers panoramic views over the Mediterranean sea with pretty coved beaches either side. This town has much to offer its visitors, including its most famous attraction the Nerja Caves, located to the east of the town. Nerja was recently included in the top 10 best destinations to visit in 2018 as voted by tourists worldwide. It’s perfect for beachgoers and explorers alike. Nerja is home to over three hundred restaurants so the choice is most definitely yours when it comes to food. No trip to Nerja is complete without a tapas crawl, which is the best way to sample the local cuisine. Discover more…
