We’ve just returned from a fantastic holiday in Nerja, which was made all the better by our stay in the beautiful Miramar villa. In all our years going on holiday this was by far the most impressive villa we’ve stayed in. It’s modern, very clean and very comfortable. The owners have thought of everything and guests don’t want for anything. The outside spaces are amazing, from the roof terrace down to the unbelievable pool/hot tub area, which has its own toilet, kitchen and barbecue area – it’s a space you’ll find very hard to tear yourself away from. My two sons loved it. The location is a winner too – only 5 minutes to the beautifully chilled-out Burriana beach area with its array of lovely beach bars, restaurants and shops. The old town is only a 15-minute walk away and is stunning with its small streets and vast choice of restaurants and shops to choose from. The view from the Balcon de Europe will take your breath away – no matter how many times you visit it! Nerja is hilly, so you’ll give yourself a work out walking to the villa and old town, but it’s a very small price to pay to be in such a perfect location. The communication with property managers Chris and Ann was superb, so we knew we were in good hands. It was lovely meeting them when we arrived at the villa. All in all, my family and I can’t recommend this villa highly enough. If you book it, I guarantee you won’t regret it. It has everything and more, and we will definitely be back. Ross MacLeod

We had a Superb family holiday in the Miramar. Our party consisted of me , over 70, and 4 young children but despite the steep hill up to the house from the beach area we still had a wonderful time. The house is extremely well equipped with sky tv and a great swimming pool area. Possibly not suitable for older guests or those with restricted movement for most it is a great position. With 10 people: 6 adults and 4 teenagers, we were the last week of october in villa Miramar. The house is built on a slope and surprisingly large, from roof terrace to gym no less than 6 floors. The living floor (kitchen, dining room, lounge, terrace) with the entrance at street level was enough for our group to eat together and see the sunset. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and has enough storage space. The whole house is well furnished. 3 bedrooms are on the floor below the living area, with a terrace overlooking the pool. The other 2 bedrooms are in the apartment, where our 4 granddaughters had the realm alone. The location of the house is nice. The last of 5, built on a kind of valley. From the pool terrace it looked like a green oasis, with almost tropical vegetation. The acoustics in the “valley” were good, so the sound of the apartments across the road could be a bit loud. We were there in the autumn, it was very quiet then, but it is possible in the summer a little noisier. The house is not recommended for families with small children, because of the many (marble) stairs. It is important for the elderly to know that the road to the beach is steep, which requires a good condition on the way back. Nerja itself is a nice place, with many shops and eateries. Beautiful streets, well maintained and lots of (palm) trees. Despite the fact that it was late October, after a hot summer, everything was still fresh and green. Around the village are many residential areas, but nowhere is high-rise. The Burriana beach is near the villa, a large beach with many amenities. And walking through the village you come across more big and small beaches. Some can only be reached by stairs. It is nice that we could order groceries by Linda and Alan, so that we had a full fridge on arrival on Sunday. In short: a large, comfortable house in a beautiful atmospheric village, an oasis in a coastal region where high-rise buildings set the tone.

We have stayed in villas in Nerja a few times now. Each time there is always something you need to complete your holiday. When we arrived at your villa it is obvious that Chris and Ann go the whole hog to make it presentable. It has the wow factor when you walk in any room. The fact it was on practically five floors gave everyone a place to go if they wanted some space on their own. The oldest in the family is 70 the youngest is 6 years old.When we went shopping it is a long drag to lug your shopping bag.But there is a shopping trolley in the cupboard. When one of the grandkids broke his toys we found super glue in the toolbox. You literally didn’t want for anything.I’d give it 5 stars for presentation and 5 stars for every thing else. It was the best villa for everything. The sun came on the pool area around 1pm and we don’t use the pool till after lunch. It was just fabulous. The balcony for your evening meal we could eat and watch the sun set. What more can I say than it exceeded all expectations. Thanks for an unforgettable holiday .And thanks to Chris and Ann for working the Oracle behind the scenes.

Stayed at Villa Miramar for 1 week in August 2018, we were 10 persons between family and friends. In one word : THE Paradise. First o all, a big thank to Chris and Ann for their welcome and relationship. They facilitated our arrival by leaving our luggages at the villa what allowed us to go to the lunch befors to install our clothes. Chris and Ann are very kind, they made it easy for us to book a transfer for our outing in Malaga and Granada. Regarding the villa, what a villa! Everithing is perfect, the villa is furnished with great taste, the furniture is beautiful and the equipment of good quality as well as bedding. The villa is very well located in Burriana, the beach is 5 minutes walk and the center is a half an hour but it is still a pleasure to ride there but we get used it! The last hill is just a little feel for the return on foot. Otherwise, there is Nerja taxis easy to book for approx 5 – 7 euros. Stayed at Villa Miramar for 2 weeks in July 2018. Fantastic property with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Chris is a great guy and always avaible by phone or email. The pool guy Steve was also really friendly and chatty, we were really happy to sit and chat while he cleaned the pool! From the apartment to the main floor of the villa is 3 flights of stairs so just bear in mind if anyone has mobility issues. Would recommend letting Chris and Ann arrange transfers as the company they used were very reliable. The villa is in an amazing spot as the sun starts on the roof terrace first thing and stays in the sun until early evening. There are plenty of places to be in the shade if that’s what you want. We enjoyed a one week stay in Villa Miramar on the 6th Aug 2018 with all of our family – 6 adults and 2 children, 6 and 7. The villa is absolutely perfect with all the facilities you need, a real home from home and to a high standard. The villa was clean and everything in full working order. Chris was extremely helpful. There is a supermarket nearby and it’s a short walk to the beach – it is uphill on the way back. Nerja is beautiful with lots of shops, restaurants and bars, you don’t need to go anywhere else. There is something for everyone in this villa, if you want to chill out, be in the pool or work out in the gym! Excellent! Our first visit at this fantatic villa. 4 generations, from 2 to 83. No problems if You don’t have problems walking stairs. Lovely and well equipped villa. Heating the pool was perfect. Surroundings beautiful. Nice and cooled bedrooms. We can definitely recommend this villa to everyone searching an upmarket house for a nice visit in Nerja. Don’t forget to visit the caves or Frigiliana or why not bring your padel rackets! Stefan W. Home from Home with added Luxury. This is our 3rd visit to Linda and Alan’s fabulous place and it’s been amazing to see the place change over the years. The addition of the self-contained 2 bed apartment (under the pool) meant that additional members of our family could join us without it feeling cramped.The pool area, which has been extended, is very spacious with good quality sun loungers and parasols to provide shade. The pool side kitchen is really useful for keeping much needed drinks ice cold and its great to have a bathroom down there to avoid having to trail back into the house. Fantastic villa – great location! We had a fantastic stay in this villa, everything we could have wished for. Great location for the beach even though a steep hill but that’s Nerja and taxis are available, great pool space, wonderful hot tub with outstanding views. Air con and fans available, great showers, lovely bedrooms, we ate in most of the time, but near everything if you wanted to go out. No complaints at all, we would definitely recommend it. Joanne E. We stayed for three weeks over Xmas and New Year with our family joining us for part of the time, including two young granddaughters. We all loved the pool and hot tub, and we were very lucky with the weather. The villa is beautiful with great views, and is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and we look forward to returning one day. Eric W.
